The apple devices also have applications for photos and videos but so do some of the other portable playing devices on the market. Of course, the Mp4 players are a step forward from the Mp3 player devices. And the best software companies never cease to get more and more creative.

There are many brands that offer good quality devices, such as Archos and Zune : not only can you get an Mp3 or even an Mp4 Archos or Zune player for a really good price, but they are good quality players too. Some players come as hard drive models, with a capacity of 10GB and more. These can hold multiple forms of data from the computer and are very reliable. Others come as mini hard drives, with a memory capacity of 1GB up to 8GB. This is just temporary, though, as technology improves every day.
